You’re going to smile again.
Yes.
You will.
You’ll see a sunset
A butterfly will fly across you only feet away
You’ll slow down for a squirrel that makes it across a busy road
You’ll see a baby in a shopping cart with pretty blue eyes
You’ll see a couple standing outside a house they just had built
You’ll get into bed and the sheets will be clean and smell like fresh laundry
You’ll feel the sun beaming on your skin
You’ll spot freckles later in the mirror
You’re gonna do your makeup and love it
You’re going to love your outfit & dash out the door to meet friends
You’re going to smile at a elderly man who holds a door for you so you don’t have to
And at puppies on walks on a long leash reaching to say hello even when their owner says “sorry!”
You’re going to make it.
Life will begin to feel sweet again.
Maybe that seems far off,
It’s not, it’s just ahead. Before you know it you’ll be smiling all the time, and this hurt will only exist as a moment of time, an old memory from an old yesterday.
And you will bloom and flourish in ways you hadn’t yet foreseen.
God will help you.

I am so sorry for the harshness you have experienced. While you may not know how it is possible you are healing, God sees it all, He sees injustice, He knows when His children have been treated portly. He’s our Daddy in heaven who stands up for what is right always! Jesus was betrayed by many, don’t forget that, He knows how you feel too. He understands it. And I will say here that I praise God for what He is doing in your life, because I know it’s gonna be full of so much good, and I want you to know that too.
